Following his introspective and emotionally-charged EP, The Zxne, TSA has become one of the most elusive names in South Africa's 'emerging artists' scene. With Finger Snacks, he's out to prove that he can also play in the big league.
Zolile Mcelu, also known as TSA, has had his fair share of underground success performing at the annual Back to the City Festival in 2015 and again this year. He is now taking it upon himself to prove to his core fans that he can be an even bigger artist. "I decided it was time to focus on the vision and not get too caught up with the politics of the music industry 'cause that shit can drive you crazy!" he says. He also adds that "you can get so caught up with building someone else's vision by trying to get onto their platform, or waiting for someone to co-sign your music and ability. So I decided to invest more in myself."
